Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

  1. Wash peppers, remove tops and seeds.
  2. Place upright in 2 quart microproof casserole.
  3. Pour water over bottom of dish and cook covered on hi 2 minutes.
  4. Drain water.
  5. Let peppers stand while preparing filling.
  6. Crumble beef into glass mixing bowl.
  7. Add onion and cook on hi 4 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
  8. Drain fat.
  9. Stir in garlic salt pepper rice parsley and 1 cup tomato sauce.
  10. Fill green peppers with mixture mounding on top.
  11. Replace peppers in casserole and top each with remaining tomato sauce.
  12. Cook covered on hi 10 to 12 minutes or until peppers are tender.
