David'S Five Star Chili
- 1 lb. hamburger (ground chuck is best)
- 1 jar Ragu garden style tomato sauce
- chili powder (suit to taste)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped pepper
- 1 chopped tomato
- 3 chopped cilantro (leaves only)
- 1 garlic clove, finely diced
- 1 chopped large jalapeno pepper (optional)
- 1 can kidney beans (optional)
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. sugar (suit to taste)
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce (suit to taste)
- salt and pepper (suit to taste)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's
- tomato soup
- 1 c. Pace
- chunky salsa or picante sauce
- 1/2 c. milk
- 6 (8-inch) flour tortillas or 8 (6-inch) corn tortillas, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Cook beef in skillet until browned.
- Pour off fat.
- Add soup, salsa, milk, tortillas and half the cheese.
- Spoon into 2-quart shallow baking dish.
- Cover.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes or until hot.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Serves 4. Prep time:
- 10 minutes.

- 30 minutes.
