Apple Raisin Bread
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 2/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c. grated apple
- 1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour one 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and oats.
- Add apple, nuts, raisins, eggs, milk and oil.
- Blend until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until done.
- Cool on wire rack.
