Pizza Pasta
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (with parsley)
- 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 10 oz. mostaccioli, cooked and drained
- 3 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
- 3/4 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- Saute pepper, onion, mushrooms and garlic powder in vegetable oil until tender.
- Stir in spaghetti sauce, water and tomato paste; blend well.
- Bring sauce to boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes uncovered.
- Add cooked mostaccioli and sliced pepperoni. Blend well.
- Pour in to 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
