Lo-Cal Creamed Onion Soup

  1. Over medium heat, melt margarine; add onions and garlic. Saute, stirring occasionally 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle flour and stir quickly for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually add water, sherry and broth mix, stirring to dissolve.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low; stir in milk and cook until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes. Remove 1 cup from pan and in small bowl, combine sour cream.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Add it to the cooked mixture; heat 2 or 3 minutes.
  8. Serves 2.
  9. Contains 153 calories per serving and 7 g fat.
