Macaroni And Cheese With Fish Sticks

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain.
  3. Cook and stir margarine, onion, salt and pepper over medium heat until onion is slightly tender.
  4. Blend in flour.
  5. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
  6. Stir in milk.
  7. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  8. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat.
  9. Stir in cheese until melted.
  10. Place macaroni in ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  11. Stir cheese sauce into macaroni.
  12. Arrange fish sticks on macaroni.
  13. Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
  14. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
