Flavorful Tofu(Kids Will Eat)

  1. Cut tofu into 1/2-inch thick slices and allow to dry on paper towels.
  2. Start to cook brown rice.
  3. In large saute pan saute onions in olive oil until translucent.
  4. Add mushrooms, red wine and spices and continue to cook until mushrooms are soft.
  5. Coat tofu with wheat germ by placing wheat germ in shallow dish and gently pressing tofu.
  6. Add tofu to saute, moving vegies aside to place tofu directly on pan.
  7. Pour can of tomatoes over all and gently mix vegies onto top and in with the tomatoes.
  8. Allow to cook, covered, on medium heat for 7 minutes.
  9. Serve with rice.
