South Of The Border Steak
- 2 lb. round steak strips
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 jar hot picante sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped fine
- 2 chopped cloves garlic
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 12 flour tortillas
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Combine flour, salt and pepper.
- Lightly batter meat in mixture.
- In frying pan, brown meat, garlic and bell pepper. Remove meat; place in tortillas.
- Roll up and place in baking dish side by side.
- Pour picante sauce, mushrooms, bell pepper and garlic mixture on top.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 25 minutes, then sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 10 more minutes.
- Serve with sour cream on top, rice on the side.
