Fiery Cajun Shrimp
- 3 sticks unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 3 medium cloves garlic, minced
- 6 fresh lemons (3 juiced, 3 sliced)
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 to 5 lb. fresh shrimp (medium to large) in shells
- Combine all ingredients, except shrimp and sliced lemons, in Dutch oven or large saucepan.
- Bring to a gentle boil, stirring frequently; reduce to simmer after 1 minute.
- Simmer about 20 minutes.
- Pour a small amount of sauce in bottom of a casserole (to cover bottom), then make layers of shrimp alternating with lemon slices.
- Pour sauce over all.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for about 20 minutes, depending on size of shrimp.
- Stir halfway through to ensure all shrimp are cooking.
- Be sure to serve with fresh French bread for sopping up this delicious hot sauce.
