Quickie Chicken Divan
- 6 chicken breasts
- 1 roll garlic cheese
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large bag frozen chopped broccoli
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- Boil the chicken breasts and pick the meat off the bone. Saute the celery and onion in 1 stick of butter or margarine until they are clear.
- Melt the cheese in the vegetable mix and add the soup.
- Cook the frozen broccoli until tender.
- Mix the ingredients together in a large casserole and top with grated cheese and slivered almonds.
- Bake at 350u0b0 until cheese melts.
