Ben'S Crispy Oat Cookies
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. crushed corn flakes cereal
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. regular oats, uncooked
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- Cream
- butter;tradually
- addtugars, beating well at medium speed
- oftn electric mixer.
- Add egg and beat well.; add
- oil and
- vanilla,
- mixing well.
- Combine flour, soda and salt;tdd to creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in oats and rest of ingredients.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten balls with tines of fork. Bake
- at
- 325u0b0 for
- 15
- minutes.tool
- slightly; remove from cookie sheets, and cool.
- Yield:
- 10 dozen.
