Pineapple Upside Down Cake
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple rings, drained
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box yellow butter recipe cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups whole milk
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0 .
- Pour melted butter in 13 x 9 pan .
- Sprinkle on the brown sugar.
- Lay the pineapple rings evenly over the brown sugar. If there are any left break into pieces and fill in the spaces in the pan .
- Combine cake mix, eggs, milk and oil and mix well with an electric mixer for two minutes on medium speed until batter is smooth .
- Pour batter evenly over pineapple and brown sugar.
- Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until cake tests done .
- Let cake cool in pan for 30 minutes .
- place cake platter over pan and invert cake onto cake platter.
