Spicy Seafood Bisque
- 4 green onions
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 1 lb raw shrimp
- 2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 bunch fresh parsley
- Saute shrimp in a large saucepan until cooked. Set aside.
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Stir the mixture frequently, until it's thickened and smooth.
- Add all other remaining ingredients, except for the green onions, parsley and shrimp. Return pot to a boil. Turn heat down and let simmer for 15 minutes (or until mushrooms are cooked).
- When 3 minutes are left on the timer, add the green onions and parsley. When soup is done, add the shrimp.
