Mineral And Vitamin Supplement For Dogs
- 1 cup flax seed
- 1/4 cup meal kelp (kelp meal feed or food grade shop around do not pay more than $2.75 lb)
- 1/4 cup dried shiitake mushroom (found in Asian markets)
- 1 tablespoon parsley (dried)
- 1 tablespoon live-bac starter culture (Live-Bac by TechMix)
- 1 teaspoon lysine protein powder (Use Pure Lysine, its easy to find as a horse or human supplement)
- 1 teaspoon bee pollen
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- In blender or coffee grinder add all ingredients except Live-Bac.
- Blend until combined and the mix is as fine or finer than ground coffee.
- Pour blender contains into a storage container and add Live-Bac.
- Shake well to mix.
- Refrigeration is recommended but not necessary.
- Enjoy mixed in kibble with a small amount of water added.
- When first introducing this supplement into a dog's diet start with 1/4 the recommend amount and slowly increase serving size to the recommend quantity over a week or two.
