Almond Pine Cones

  1. Spread almonds in a single layer in shallow pan.
  2. Bake at 300u0b0 for 15 minutes, stirring often, until almonds just begin to turn color.
  3. Combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise and seasonings. Mix well.
  4. Cover; chill overnight.
  5. Form into shapes of 2 pine cones.
  6. Place on serving platter or cutting board.
  7. Beginning at narrow end, press almonds at slight angle into cheese in rows until all is covered.
  8. Garnish with artificial pine sprigs.
  9. Add cheese spreader or knife to plate.
  10. Serve with crackers.
  11. Looks festive.
