Chicken And Macaroni Au Gratin
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (salt)
- dash of nutmeg (optional)
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. chicken bouillon
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento (optional)
- 1 c. sauteed mushrooms
- 2 1/2 c. cooked chicken, diced
- 2 c. cooked macaroni
- 1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Melt butter over low heat; blend in flour, cream cheese and seasonings together.
- Gradually add bouillon and milk, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
- Combine with other ingredients.
- Place in greased 2-quart casserole and top with cheese.
- Bake 25 minutes (uncovered).
