Seafood Pasta
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 2 Tbsp. blackened spice (we like Bayou Magic)
- 1 1/2 lb. large shrimp (you may substitute chicken)
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and chilies
- 1 cream cheese (4 oz.)
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 pkg. angel hair pasta or thin noodles
- 1 pkg. Louis Rich faux crab
- 1 pkg. fresh mushrooms (optional), sauteed in garlic butter
- Cook pasta and have ready to serve. Melt butter and sauteed onions. Add blackened spice, shrimp and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring twice. Cut cream cheese into 4 pieces and add to shrimp mixture. Add crab and mushrooms NOW. Cover for 1 minute and then stir until cheese is smooth. Add sour cream and continue to stir. Serve over pasta. Enjoy!!!
