Pizza Scones

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients and 2 tbs of parmesan cheese; add buttermilk.
  2. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
  4. Pat to an 8 inch circle; place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  5. Brush with oil; sprinkle evenly with pepper and remaining tbs of parmesan cheese.
  6. Cut into 12 even wedges (DO NOT separate wedges!) Bake at 400u0b0F for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Separate wedges, and serve with pizza sauce if desired.
