Garden Chowder

  1. In a stock pot, saute green pepper and onion in butter until tender.
  2. Add vegetables, broth, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Combine flour and milk and stir slowly into soup.
  5. Allow to thicken at a low temperature.
  6. Add spices, and stir in cheddar until melted.
  7. Serve immediately or allow to cool and store in the freezer for OAMC.
