Crown Cake
- 1/2 c. butter (soft)
- 1 1/3 c. white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. currants
- 1 egg
- a little milk
- 1 stick butter

- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped hickory nuts
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped hickory nuts
- Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in powdered sugar. Add chopped nuts. SPREAD ON CAKE WHILE CAKE IS HOT!
