Shrimp And Asparagus Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Spread cooked rice in buttered baking dish, 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inches.
  3. Spread asparagus over rice. Cover with shrimp.
  4. Melt butter; stir in flour and cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in milk and cheese.
  7. Bring to boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  8. Season to taste with salt and paprika.
  9. Pour sauce over shrimp in baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika.
  11. Bake 20 minutes.
  12. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
