Company Chicken Casserole
- 6 c. chicken, cooked and diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 6 c. cornbread, crumbled
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 4 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- Combine chicken, mushroom and celery soup.
- Mix together well. Divide mixture in
- half
- and
- spread
- each
- half
- in bottom of a greased 8 x 8-inch
- pan
- or
- all
- of
- mixture in a large baking dish.
- Melt margarine and pour into broth.
- Blend and add onion, celery
- and
- poultry
- seasoning.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add
- cornbread
- mixture to liquid mixture and mix well. Spread on top of chicken mixture in pan or dish.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 350u0b0.
