Beef And Cheese Bake
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. snipped green onions
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 8 oz. medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Lightly oil a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Saute beef until brown; drain fat.
- Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and salt.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine cottage cheese, sour cream and cream cheese.
- Add onion and green pepper.
- Spread half of noodles on bottom of baking dish.
- Spoon a little of the meat sauce over the noodles.
- Cover with cheese mixture.
- Top with remaining noodles.
- Spoon on remaining meat sauce.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly hot.
- Serves 10 to 12.
