Lazy Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 (28 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Brown meat in a large saucepan and drain.
- Add next 4 ingredients.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese, egg and Parmesan cheese.
- Put a little of the meat sauce in bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish and alternate layers as follows:
- noodles, 1/3 meat sauce, half of cheese mixture.
- Repeat and then top with remaining meat sauce.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top and cover with foil. Bake at 350u0b0 for one hour or until noodles are tender.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
