Crab & Shrimp Chili (Spicy)
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes (use pre-seasoned ones)
- 10 1/2 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 8 ounces imitation crabmeat (flaked)
- 8 ounces pre-cooked shrimp (deveined and tails removed)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon blackening seasoning (I used Old Bay)
- 3 dashes thyme
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Turn heat to low and let simmer for at least a half hour before serving.
- You can leave it on a low heat setting for several hours if needed.
- Serve alone or mixed with rice.
