Sweet & Savory Stewed Chicken Liver

  1. Remove the fat and bloody meat from the chicken liver.
  2. Cut into bite-sized pieces and soak in water for 5 minutes.
  3. Julienne the ginger.
  4. Put Step 1 into boiling water and boil for just 15 seconds.
  5. Drain and soak in ice cold water.
  6. Dry it off well with a paper towel.
  7. Place the ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil.
  8. Once boiling, add Step 2 and simmer for 7-8 minutes on medium-low heat.
  9. Lastly, raise the heat to high to add gloss to the meat.
  10. Arrange on a dish and top the ginger as a garnish.
