A Garden Of Spring Tulips Cake Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 350 .
  2. Generously grease and flour 2 round pans 8 or possibly 9x 1 1/2 inches.
  3. Beat cake mix (dry), water, oil and Large eggs on low speed 30 seconds.
  4. Beat on medium speed 2 min.
  5. Pour into pans.
  6. Bake 25 to 34 min or possibly till cake springs back when touched lightly in center.
  7. Cold 10 min; remove from pans.
  8. Cold completely on wire rack.
  9. Fill layers and frost cake with frosting.
  10. Garnish with Gumdrop Tulips.
  11. Gumdrop Tulips: Cut green gumdrops horizontally in half for leaves.
  12. Thread 1 leaf half onto middle of each toothpick.
  13. Snip bottom of each gumdrop 4 times to create tulip petals.
  14. Place on end of toothpick.
  15. Yield: 12 to 16 servings
