Oven Fried Chicken

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 425F.
  2. Rinse the chicken pieces and pat dry.
  3. Mix the flour, salt and lemon pepper in a bowl.
  4. Toss the chicken pieces in the flour mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Cut the butter into 16 small pieces and place two pieces on each piece of chicken.
  6. Bake at 425F for 30 minutes then reduce the heat to 350 and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until a thermometer reads 180F.
