Gateau Chocolat
- 120 grams Chocolate
- 100 ml Heavy cream
- 3 Egg yolk
- 50 grams Butter
- 30 grams Cake flour
- 30 grams Cocoa Powder
- 3 Egg white
- 100 grams Sugar
- Preparations: Melt the chocolate and butter separately.
- Boil the cream.
- Add the boiled cream to the melted chocolate and mix.
- Add the egg yolks and mix.
- Then add the melted butter and blend together well.
- Mix together the flour and the cocoa powder, sift into the mixture and mix everything together.
- In a separate bowl, gently whip the egg whites.
- Add the sugar in 2-3 batches while whipping.
- Whip until peaks stand and a meringue is formed.
- Add the meringue to the Step 4 batter and gently mix.
- Pour into the mold about 80% full and bake in a oven preheated to 140F celsius for 50-60 minutes.
- It's also cute if you bake it in a cupcake cup.
