chocolate hazelnut biscotti
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup nutella
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chopped hazelnuts (optional)
- preheat oven to 375F
- in a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- in another medium bowl combine butter, nutella, sugar, and Brown sugar.
- cream the ingredients together using an electric mixer.
- add egg and vanilla, beat until smooth.
- using a wooden spoon stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
- add the hazelnuts and combine.
- space cookie dough out and use fork to flatten.
- bake about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- you may chill the mixture before placing on baking sheet.
