Honey Whole Grain Bread Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 c. white flour with yeast and salt.
  2. Heat water, cottage cheese, butter and honey till very hot (120 to 130 degrees).
  3. Add in hot liquid and Large eggs to flour mix.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add in whole wheat flour, oats and nuts.
  6. Stir in remaining white flour (add in more if necessary).
  7. Knead till smooth and elastic.
  8. Let rise till double.
  9. Punch down and place in 2 greased 5 1/4 x 9 1/4 x 3 inch pans.
  10. Let rise about 1 hour.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min.
  12. Remove from pans onto cooling rack.
  13. Brush tops with butter.
