Black Forest Brownie Pie Recipe

  1. Combine butter, chocolate, sugar, egg, lowfat milk, and vanilla; beat well.
  2. Add in flour and nuts; beat well.
  3. Spread batter into crust.
  4. Bake in a 350'F.
  5. oven till top looks dry and feels hard when gently touched, 18-20 min.
  6. cold; spread top with frosting.
  7. When frosting is cold, transfer cherries from can with a slotted spoon to top dessert.
  8. *** CHOCOLATE CRUST*** Finely crush chocolate wafers to make 1 1/4 c. crumbs; pour into a 9" pie pan.
  9. Mix with 3 tablespooons melted butter or possibly margarine and press firmly over pan bottom and up side.
  10. Bake in a 350'F.
  11. oven till darker brown at rim, 8-10 min, cold.
  12. *** FROSTIMG*** In a 1- to 1 1/2 qt pan over low heat, stir 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate baking chips with 2 Tbsp.
  13. whipping cream just till snooth.
  14. Use hot.
