Hidden Valley Sausage Stars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Blot the sausage dry with a paper towel, and crumble into a bowl.
  3. Combine the cheese, dressing, olives and peppers with the sausage.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Lightly grease a muffin pan with either oil or Pam cooking spray.
  6. Press a wonton square into each of the muffin cups, brush with lightly with oil, and bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from tin and cool.
  8. Repeat until all of the wontons have been baked.
  9. Place the baked wontons on a baking sheet and fill each of the stars (wontons) with the sausage mixture.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until they bubble.
  11. This recipe makes 4-5 dozen and is a great appetizer for any occasion.
