Strawberry Banana Salad
- 2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries, sliced & thawed
- 3 medium bananas, mashed
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained well
- 1 12 cups pecans, coarsely chopped, divided
- 1 pint sour cream
- Put jello in a pyrex.
- Pour boiling water over and stir until completely dissolved.
- Fold in all fruit and 1 cup nuts.
- Put in fridge to congeal.
- When jello is totally set, spread sour cream over top.
- Sprinkle with rest of pecans.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Prep time doe not include refrigerator time.
