Izakaya Sakura Chilled Tofu With Spicy Ground Pork
- 2 12 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 12 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 (12 1/3 ounce) packagesoft fresh tofu, drained
- 13 lb ground pork
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 14 English cucumber, finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon sichuan chili bean paste (doubanjiang-Chinese spicy miso)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Mix rice vinegar, soy sauce, chopped green onions, sugar and sesame oil to make dressing.
- In a saucepan, add vegetable oil, garlic and doubanjiang and heat for one minute.
- Add ground meat and soy sauce.
- Stir-fry for 3 minutes or until meat is cooked.
- Cut tofu into bite-sized pieces and serve on a plate.
- Cover with the cooked meat and then add the dressing.
- Serve with sliced cucumber on side.
