Chinese Hawaiian Pineapple Barbequed Spareribs Recipe

  1. Cover ribs with water and bring to simmer.
  2. Cook for 1/2 hour.
  3. While ribs are simmering, make paste of brown sugar, vinegar.
  4. Add in all remaining ingredients.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer 1/2 hour.
  6. Spread sauce on ribs and barbeque over medium warm coals, basting with rest of sauce.
  7. Ribs may be placed on a rack in a pan in the oven and baked 1 hour at 350 degrees.
  8. Baste with marinade, turning ribs to absorb sauce, and to crisp.
