Italian Pizza Sauce

  1. Mix all ingredients; simmer 2 or 3 hours (I use a crockpot).
  2. Cool before using.
  3. Makes sauce for 2 large pizza; freezes well.
  4. PIZZA CRUST 1/4 cup warm water 1 package dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 13 cup warm water 2 teaspoon sugar 2 cup sifted flour
  5. Mix first 3 ingredients together; let stand 2 minutes.
  6. Stir and let stand 5 minutes more.
  7. Add next 3 ingredients; mix well and knead.
  8. Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  9. Makes 1 large pizza.
