Triple-Layer Mud Pie

  1. Mix crumbs and butter.
  2. Divide evenly into 4 (9-inch) pie plates (or into 1 pie plate for trial recipe); press firmly onto bottom and up side.
  3. Carefully spread 2 cups (500 mL) coffee ice cream onto bottom of each crust; cover with 3/4 cup (175 mL) whipped topping.
  4. Freeze 5 min.
  5. Spread 2 cups (500 mL) chocolate ice cream over each pie; top with 1/2 cup (125 mL) OREO Pieces, pressing lightly into pies to secure.
  6. Cover each with thin layer of whipped topping (about 3/4 cup 175 mL).
  7. Freeze several hours or overnight.
  8. Garnish with remaining whipped topping and cookie halves.
