Tea Base Punch Recipe
- 4 tea bags (regular size)
- 2 c. boiling water
- 3 lg. lemons
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 c. cool water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 quart. ginger ale
- Pour boiling water over tea bags, cover and steep for 10 min.
- Set aside.
- Wash lemons and extract juice.
- Add in the lemon rinds to cool water and sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add in juice and tea.
- Cold and add in extracts.
- Mix well and add in ginger ale.
- Serve over ice in punch bowl.
- Serves 25.
