Tims Barbecue Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix together sugar, salt, celery seed, cumin, red pepper, garlic powder and chili powder.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large pot combine ketchup, vinegar, liquid smoke and lemon juice and lime juice.
  4. Add dry ingredients and mix until very well blended.
  5. Simmer over a low flame or on lowest setting on the stove for 1 hour.
  6. Sauce may be stored in an airtight container in refrigerator for 2-3 weeks or in freezer up to 6 months.
