Salsa Verde Pasta Recipe

  1. In food processor, combine the basil, parsley, pine nuts, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Process to a fine paste.
  3. With machine running, pour 3/4 c. extra virgin olive oil through feed tube in a steady stream.
  4. Stir in cheese and if sauce is too thick, add in more oil till it is a spoonable consistency.
  5. Prepare pasta as directed on package.
  6. Drain and toss with sufficient sauce to coat.
  7. Spoon into serving bowl; garnish with fresh basil, if you like.
  8. Spoon leftovers sauce into small bowl to serve with pasta.
  9. Serves 6-8.
