Barbecue Lamb Shank Dinner Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare barbecue sauce.
  3. Mix flour, 1 tsp.
  4. salt and pepper; coat meat with flour mix.
  5. Heat shortening in Dutch oven; brown meat.
  6. Drain off fat.
  7. Brush meat with barbecue sauce.
  8. Pour water into pan.
  9. Cover and bake 1 hour.
  10. Brush meat again with barbecue sauce.
  11. Add in potatoes and season salt.
  12. Cover; bake 1 hour longer.
  13. Brush remaining barbecue sauce on meat.
  14. Add in beans, bake, uncovered 30 min.
  15. 4 servings.
