Best White Fruit Cake Recipe
- 1/2 pound butter or possibly 1 stick butter + 1 stick butter
- 1/2 ounce. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 lg. Large eggs (or possibly 6 med. ones)
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 4 c. minced pecans
- 8 ounce. red cherries, minced
- 8 ounce. green cherries, minced
- 4 ounce. pineapple
- 4 ounce. citron
- Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
- Blend in Large eggs.
- Mix part of flour into fruits and nuts.
- Sift remaining flour with baking pwdr.
- Fold into Large eggs and butter mix.
- Add in vanilla.
- Mix well and mix in fruits and nuts; use a large bowl.
- Pour into a greased "brown paper" lined tube pan or possibly small loaf pans.
- Place in a cool oven and bake at 250 degrees for 3 hrs.
- Cold in pan.
- Keep well wrapped.
