Green Bean and Fried Onion Casserole
- 21 1/2 ounces soup, cream of mushroom condensed cream, undiluted, 2 cans
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce, tamari
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 32 ounces green beans frozen whole or cut, cooked and drained, 2 packages
- 6 ounces french fried onions divided, 1 can
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Cook green beans according to package directions.
- Do not over cook.
- In a bowl, combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper.
- Gently stir in the drained, cooked beans.
- Spoon half of the mixture into a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle with half of the onions.
- Spoon remaining bean mixture over the top.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
- Sprinkle with remaining onions.
- Bake 5 minutes longer or until the onions are brown and crispy.
