Pork Ribs with dry rub (oven cooked and grilled)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp cayanne pepper
- 1/2 tsp all spice
- 1/2 tsp blackened seasoning
- 1/2 cup yellow mustard for moisture.
- I normally use baby back ribs but you can use country style ribs as well.
- Of course wash and remove the membrane from you rack...
- Dry well with paper towels.
- I usually lay out a couple sheets of wax paper to add the mustard and rub.
- lather the whole rack up with mustard.
- enough to coat entire rack.... then go ahead and mix all the seasonings together well.
- rub all over ribs and bake at 250F for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours depending on the weight of your ribs.
- (my babybacks are about 3 lbs and leave them in for about 4 hrs..)
- once ribs are cooked to your liking add to a hot grill to get the nice grilled taste.
- if you don't have a grill broil for about 5-8 min on high to make them nice and crispy!
