Martians Ears (A.k.a. Orecchiette With Broccoli Sauce)
- 500 g orecchiette
- 1 small head broccoli (cooked, steamed or boiled)
- 1 medium onion, finely (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves
- handful fennel leaves (chopped)
- 1 glass wine
- 300 ml yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 14 cup pecorino cheese or 14 cup parmesan cheese
- Boil water for past and add salt.
- Heat olive oil in pan and saute the garlig and onions.
- Add the wine and reduce in volume.
- In a blender toss in the broccoli, onion mix, fennel , yogurt and pecorino.
- Season with salt and pepper and heat in a sauce pan.
- In the mean time boil the pasta.
- When ready mix the pasta and sauce together so that they will be well coated in sauce and look like green ears.
- Serve .
