Scalloped Eggs Recipe
- 1 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 1/2 dozen hard cooked Large eggs, sliced
- White sauce (below)
- 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 clove garlic or possibly 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- Stir cheese and spices into white sauce till cheese is melted.
- Alternate layers of sauce, bacon and Large eggs in oblong baking dish.
- Top with 1/3 package buttered Pepperidge Farm stuffing.
- Bake 20 to 25 min at 350 degrees.
- If made ahead, don't add in stuffing till cooking time.
