Cuban Black Beans and Rice

  1. Bring beans to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  2. Cover and stir occasionally until beans are tender (at least 4 hours).
  3. Add all above ingredients and cover with water.
  4. Bring to a boil again, and reduce to a simmer, until all is tender and gravy thickens.
  5. You may have to add more water.
  6. You will most likely want to add more salt to taste.
  7. We like to serve over white rice.yummah!
  8. ENJOY!
