Low-Fat Banana Spice Bread
- 1 34 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon ground cloves
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 cup oat bran
- 2 Egg Beaters egg substitute
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 13 cup applesauce
- 3 medium sized ripe bananas, mashed (1 1/2 cup)
- Preheat oven to 350F Spray a 9X5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
- Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves and salt into a medium size bowl.
- Stir in oat bran; set aside.
- In another medium size bowl, beat together Egg Beaters, brown sugar, and applesauce; add bananas.
- Add dry ingredients to banana mixture.
- Beat until just combined.
- Pour into prepared load pan.
- Bake in oven for 50 minutes.
- Remove from pan.
- Cool on wire rack.
