Baked Tuna Korokke

  1. Preparation -Mash the potatoes.
  2. -Drain the oil from the tuna.
  3. -Chop the onion finely.
  4. -Roast the panko on a heated frying pan until browned (do not add oil!)
  5. -Add the butter to the frying pan and saute the onions.
  6. When translucent, add the ground pork and stir fry.
  7. Once the color of the meat changes, add the tuna, salt, pepper and continue frying.
  8. -Put the mashed potatoes and the sauteed mixture from Step 3 in a bowl.
  9. Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise and mix together.
  10. Form into cylindrical patties as shown.
  11. -Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the patty and coat with panko.
  12. Right before serving, bake in the oven at 180C for 15 to 20 minutes and it's done.
